A promotional release form is a legal document authorizing the use of an individual's name, image, voice, or likeness for advertising,  endorsements, or promotional purposes.

By signing a promotional release form, the signer agrees to the use of their image or likeness. By signing the document, the individual confirms and approves understanding of the context in which their name or likeness will be used. 

Promotional release forms also protect the company or organization that uses an individual's image or likeness from any potential legal action that may arise from using the person’s image or likeness without permission.
